Meet Marissa Witte, our beloved Bartender and Assistant Manager at Islamorada Brewery & Distillery Fort Pierce. Marissa joined our team back in November 2020 and quickly became a staple in the bar, bringing a smile to every customer’s face with her warm personality and infectious laughter. Her favorite thing about working for Islamorada is the opportunity to work for a growing, local company and having the opportunity to meet so many amazing people. When she’s not making drinks and cracking dad jokes, Marissa can be found enjoying life out on the crystal-clear blue waters of the Florida coast, drinking rum runners, and relaxing with a good book under a shady palm tree. If she were ever stranded on a deserted island, Marissa would bring a fuzzy blanket to stay cozy, delicious snacks, and iced coffee to enjoy. If she were a superhero, her power of teleportation would allow her to travel more frequently so she could come and go from her private island whenever she wished and also travel anywhere else in the world she had an interest in spontaneously visiting. One thing she couldn’t live without is chapstick, which she swears by. Her favorite Islamorada product is the Islamorada Vodka, which she loves in her signature espresso martini. With a self-rated sense of humor at a 6, Marissa’s original joke is “What’s Mario’s favorite type of pants? Denim Denim Denim”. Fun fact about Marissa? She has a twin sister who brews beer in Cincinnati. Marissa is truly one of a kind, and we are grateful to have her on our team.
